Man dies in Kingsbury after being found with ‘severe burns’

A man aged in his 50s has died in Kingsbury today (21 Nov) after being found with severe burns.

Images posted on social media showed an air ambulance landed in Church Lane Recreation Ground to attend to the man. It is believed that he died in his garden however this was not confirmed by police. 

A Met Police spokesperson told Harrow Online: “Police were called to Boycroft Avenue, NW9, at 09.54hrs on Saturday, 21 November, by London Ambulance Service (LAS) to a report of man with severe burns.

“Officers attended. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead shortly after 10.00hrs.

“His next of kin have been informed.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
