A man was rushed to a major trauma centre yesterday after falling from a roof in Edgware.

The incident happened at around 2pm as people contacted Harrow Online with footage of the scene. The footage shows at least four ambulances and response cars on Millais Gardens, Edgware.

An Air Ambulance also landed in a nearby field, it is not known if the man was flown to the centre to be treated.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.09pm yesterday (24 October) to reports of a person who had fallen from a roof in Millais Gardens, Edgware.

“We sent a number of resources including an ambulance crew and two medics in fast response cars. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance to the scene. The first paramedic arrived in less than three minutes.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
